도깨비왕 ‘라선’은 자신의 부활을 위해, 사악한 요괴 바이러스 ‘어둠깨비’를 지구에 퍼뜨리고 ‘어둠깨비’들은 외로운 소년 ‘서도영’을 통해 어둠의 힘을 증식시킨다. 한편 ‘염라대왕’의 지시를 받아 새로운 요괴워치의 주인을 찾던 ‘위스퍼’는 정의감이 강한 소녀 ‘윤단아’와 술법을 사용할 줄 아는 소년 ‘천유성’을 만난다. ‘윤단아’는 절체절명의 위기에서 벗어나기 위해 요괴들을 소환하기 시작하고, 요괴들에게는 라이트사이드&섀도사이드 두 개의 얼굴이 있다는 사실을 알게 된다. 그리고 마침내 시작된 운명의 전투!

Seventy years ago, several mysterious murders occurred in Tokyo, Japan. Young, beautiful women were found dead, their bodies dried up like ancient mummies. Now young women are dying the same way and Miho, a 19 year-old college student discovers that a weird stranger is stalking her. While her best friend Azusa, is busy seducing their professor, she discovers he is not human at all, but a horrible tentacle-endowed monster! Now that his dark secret is revealed, both girls are on the run for their life, but can she escape from the hideous monster disguised as a mild-mannered professor?

Hiromi appears on the outside to be a mature, resilient girl, but on the inside she feels like she's falling apart. She is having troubles at home mainly because of her parents wanting to separate. Her dog, Junkers, tries to comfort her in ways no other dog can. You see, he can talk and grant her 3 wishes.

A film produced and paid for by Kitakyushu City's Board of Education and Council for the Promotion of Outcast Issue Awareness. The story follows two second-year junior high girls who discover an old lady collapsed outside her home in rural Japan. After assisting her back inside, the two hear the old lady's harrowing life story and discover that she is illiterate. Shocked by this, the girls vow to volunteer their time to teach the old woman to read and write each day.

As Akira Fudo wakes up, he finds himself in a "chibi" form, which he thinks doesn't fit a hero such as himself. He is not the only one that has changed. Together with Ryo and Miki, they set out on a journey to restore their proper appearances and find out what caused this change. During their adventure they find several other characters from the world of Go Nagai, such as Mazinger Z, Dr. Hell, Baron Ashura, and others.
