칼로 사람을 찌르고 교도소에 갇힌 12살 소년 자인은 부모를 상대로 소송을 제기한다. 신분증도 없고, 출생증명서도 없어서 언제 태어났는지도 모르는 자인. 법정에 선 자인에게 왜 부모를 상대로 소송을 제기하는지 판사가 묻자 자인이 대답한다. ‘태어나게 했으니까요. 이 끔찍한 세상에 태어나게 한 게 그들이니까요.’

Tarek dreams of being reunited with his father, and struggles to adapt to a new life far away from all he previously knew.
