Charlie returns from boarding school to take care of her sick mother Laura, owner of a small organic egg farm in the New Jersey countryside. It's a struggle to look after her mom, run the farm on her own and keep up with her studies. Their day-today life on the farm, already strained by years of unspoken resentment, is turned upside down when Laura’s mother Solange shows up unannounced! Solange is an eccentric French feminist who left America many years ago. She's never had much of a relationship with her daughter. Laura's sudden illness motivates her to reconnect. But can these three women, opposite in so many ways, learn to live together? To combat the unexpected bird flu epidemic that threatens the farm, they must rise above conflict. Only love and laughter can heal old wounds and help them to accept each other's differences.

Somewhere in Europe, mid-20th century. Albert is employed to look after Mia, a girl with teeth of ice. Mia never leaves their apartment, where the shutters are always closed. The telephone rings regularly and the Master enquires after Mia's wellbeing. Until the day Albert is instructed that he must prepare the child to leave.

소년과 여인들만 살고 있는 어느 외딴 섬. 이 곳에 살고 있는 10살의 소년 '니콜라'는 어느 날 바다에서 수영을 즐기다 시체를 목격한다. 매일 밤 악몽을 꾸는 '니콜라'에게 그의 엄마는 매일 알 수 없는 약을 투여시킨다. 모든 게 불가사의하기만 한 이 섬에서 소년들은 비밀스럽고도 불길한 실험에 이용되고, '니콜라'는 자신에게 벌어지고 있는 모든 일들을 의심하기 시작한다. 과연, 이 곳에선 무슨 일이 벌어지고 있는 것일까?

Henry, dedicated citizen of a pitiless dictatorship, has always worked intensely at the Denunciation Ministry. But suddenly, the regime collapses; the cold, technocratic and paranoid world becoming at once an idyllic and caricatured countryside. Henry, panicked without the rules he was addicted to, seems to be the only one to regret the old regime. As if it was going to come back, he continues to follow the rules and clings to his useless work...
