소년과 여인들만 살고 있는 어느 외딴 섬. 이 곳에 살고 있는 10살의 소년 '니콜라'는 어느 날 바다에서 수영을 즐기다 시체를 목격한다. 매일 밤 악몽을 꾸는 '니콜라'에게 그의 엄마는 매일 알 수 없는 약을 투여시킨다. 모든 게 불가사의하기만 한 이 섬에서 소년들은 비밀스럽고도 불길한 실험에 이용되고, '니콜라'는 자신에게 벌어지고 있는 모든 일들을 의심하기 시작한다. 과연, 이 곳에선 무슨 일이 벌어지고 있는 것일까?

Miguel makes the journey that his grandfather cannot make because he is locked up by his own family. The mission is very simple, go to a funeral and leave an army jacket on the grave of an old man, a friend of his grandfather.
