음악 제작자인 스완은 '천국'이란 이름의 클럽을 열 예정이다. 스완은 이곳에서 공연할 새로운 가수를 찾던 중 뛰어난 재능을 지닌 윈슬로우를 발견하지만 그에게 누명을 씌워 감옥에 보낸 뒤 노래를 빼앗는다. 복수를 꿈꾸는 윈슬로우는 출소 후 가면을 쓴 채 '천국'으로 숨어 들어간다.

However, the circus isn't all fun and games when the evil candy vendor, Harry Tupper, convinces Toby that his Aunt Olive and Uncle Daniel don't love him or want him back. Toby resigns himself to circus life, but when he finally realizes that Tupper lied to him, and that his aunt and uncle truly love him, Toby happily returns home once again.
