얼마 전 프랑스에서 추방당한 아미르는 이란으로 돌아온 지 얼마 되지 않아 당장 변변한 직업이 없다. 항상 불만이 많은 아버지와 사이가 좋을 수 없지만 아버지의 집에 얹혀살 수 밖에 없는 상황이다. 어느 날 아버지가 일하는 도살장의 냉동창고에서 시신 여러 구가 발견되고 아버지는 억울하게 누명을 쓸 처지가 된다. 아들은 진범이 누구인지는 모르지만 일단 아버지를 도와 시신들을 은폐한다. 하지만 실종된 아버지를 찾는 딸에게 특별한 감정을 느끼게 되고 비밀을 지켜야 하는 일은 더욱 복잡해진다. 그는 위험한 범죄에 휘말리는 와중에 전세를 역전하려고 한다.
