미셀(Michele: 로라 테이트 분)과 릴리안(Lillian: 미셀 맥브라이드 분)은 트랜실바니아의 전설과 고래 신화를 공부하기 위하여 로마니아에 있는 친구 마리(Mara: 이리나 모빌라 분)를 찾아온다. 한편 로마니아의 깊은 심연 속에선 드라큐라 라두(Radu: 앤더스 호브 분)가 자신의 양아버지를 살해하고 악마 군단을 만들면서 악의 왕국을 건설하려 한다. 아무것도 모르는 세 아가씨는 그의 왕국으로 탐사를 떠나고 라두는 그들을 아내로 맞아들이기 위해 마수의 손길을 뻗힌다.
