가네샤(베달람 - 아지스 쿠마르)는 동생 타밀(락쉬미 메논)의 예술학교 진학을 위해 콜카타로 오게 된다. 선한 인상의 가네샤는 가는 곳마다 신임을 얻으며 사람들의 축복을 받고, 타밀 역시 선한 인품과 예쁜 외모로 사람들의 인기를 독차지 하며 살아간다. 집주인의 도움으로 택시회사에 취직한 가네샤는 우연히 변호사(수웨타 - 스루티 K. 하산)를 태운 후 그녀의 부탁으로 거짓 증인역을 하게 된다. 하지만 선한 가네샤는 금방 들통이 나버리고 그때문에 수웨타는 법정모독으로 벌금 및 변호사자격까지 박탈당하고 만단. 잠시 후 법원을 나와 한 손님(아르준 - 애쉬윈 카쿠마누)을 태운 가네샤는 타밀을 데리러 가게 되고, 아르준은 예쁜 타밀에게 한 눈에 반하고 만다. 어느날 가네샤는 타밀을 미행하는 수상한 자가 있다는 것을 알게된다. 그 자를 쫓는과정에서 가네샤는 범죄현장을 목격하게 되지만, 그 보다는 타밀의 안전이 우선이라 그 자리를 벗어나 수상자를 뒤쫓는다. 그리고 수상자를 잡는 순간 그가 며칠전에 태운 아르준임을 알게된다. 아르준의 진심을 알게 된 가네샤는 두 사람의 약혼을 허락하게 되지만, 이게 왠일. 아르준의 동생은 수웨타 였고, 그녀는 자신을 망쳤다고 여긴 가네샤의 집안과의 결혼을 결사반대하게 된다. 설상가상으로 아르준을 미행하는 과정에서 범죄현장을 목격했던 가네샤는 범죄조직의 표적이 되어 납치되는 일이 벌어지고 마는데...
