로위문 가족은 더럽고 시끄러운 '해현각'이라는 오래된 빌딩에 살고 있다. 병든 아버지, 열심히 일하지만 돈은 많이 못 버는 위문, 매일 화를 안고 사는 아내, 음악을 한다며 사실 취업 못하고 있는 첫째 아들, 공부에는 관심 없고 엉뚱하기만 한 딸과 함께 살아가고 있다. 다섯 식구는 늘 투닥거리며 살지만 창문 너머로 보이는 바다 풍경으로 위안을 삼으며 또 하루를 살아간다.

Once Tung refuses to pay for his debt, he calls Chi Lung to beat the man of brother Wai. Wai wants to union with Fai to fight with Tung but Fai does not want any gang business. Wai ambushes Tung in order to assassinate him and tries to claim that is Fai's order. Wai wants to start a war between them, so he can be the last winner. Tung falls into Wai's trap.
