The film presents the five members of the popular music group La Pandilla in a tangled comedy-musical plot, involving a stolen audio recording, during the summer of their group tour. Includes sequences within the same concerts, where the enthusiastic public is also shown. The plot is woven around this tour, alternating performances with funny incidents at a hotel in Condado where they stayed.

Country bumpkin Frank runs into a gangland shooting, driving the victims to the gang's headquarters. He soon earns a place in Erik's mob. Syndicate head Big John wishes to unite the four gangs in Chicago, but Erik defies them, wishing to remain independent. This is the point that allows the ambitious Frank to muscle in on Erik's mob, and his moll, Lucie. At the end of the Civil War, Jim Slade, a young confederate soldier and conscientious objector, returns to his ranch to find his parents murdered and the ranch practically destroyed. He finds and kills three of the murderers and learns the name of the fourth, a certain Corbett. Finally he discovers Corbett as the leader of a gang that has plans to rob a local bank and is invited to help defend the town from the bandits. Teaming with a preacher, who has an agenda of his own, the two take a stand against Corbett.
