군의관 엘리자베스는 스스로 PTSD를 의심하며 집으로 돌아온다. 가족과 함께 치료를 하던 중 무서운 환상이 점점 더 심해짐을 경험한다. 그리고 이웃에 살고 있는 퇴마사로부터 그녀와 가족들이 집 주변에 스며든 고대 악령으로부터 공격을 받고 있다는 경고를 받는다. 이제 그녀는 가족을 지키기 위해 악령과 목숨을 건 싸움을 벌이게 된다.
