A year after the boys crossed dimensions, discovered magic and battled the restoring demon, they are back home in Bremin and are struggling with everyday teenage life. 일가족 3명을 살해한 Burns 삼 형제를 쫓던 Captain Stanley(레이 윈스턴)은 창녀촌에 숨어 있던 둘째 Charlie Burns(가이 피어스)와 셋째 Mike Burns를 검거하는 데 성공한다. 둘을 모두 감옥으로 끌고 가는 대신 Stanley는 Charlie에게 제안(The Proposition)을 한다. 경찰도 추적자들도 쫓기 힘든 곳으로 도망 갔다고 알려진 Charlie의 형 Arthur Burns(대니 휴스턴)을 크리스마스 전까지 생포해 온다면 동생을 살려주겠다는 것이다. 제안을 받아들인 Charlie는 Arthur를 찾던 중 원주민의 습격을 받아 죽을 위험에 처하는데, 마침 근처에 소굴이 있던 Arthur 일당이 나타나 구해주고 상처를 치료해준다. 몸을 추스른 Charlie는 Arthur 일당과 함께 동생을 구하기 위해 마을로 잠입한다. 태형을 맞아 목숨이 위태로운 상태였던 동생을 구출하는 데는 성공했지만, 결국 동생은 죽고 만다. Arthur는 Captain Stanley의 집에 쳐들어가 그의 아내와 그를 살해하려 하는데, 동생을 묻고 뒤늦게 도착한 Charlie는 더 이상 죄를 지을 수 없어 Arthur 일당을 쏴 죽여버리고 떠난다.
