할리우드 신진 여배우의 치와와가 우울증에 걸렸다는 말에 왕진을 떠나는 마야 두리틀, 자신만의 TV 쇼를 찍지 않겠냐는 제안까지 받으며 화려한 할리우드에 푹 빠진다. 그러나 믿음직한 조수 러키의 도움으로 화려하기만 한 일면 너머를 발견하고 동물들을 돕겠다는 꿈을 이어 나가기로 결심한다.
