레리 로버츠 박사(Dr. Larry Roberts: 알버트 피니 분)는 비벌히 힐스의 이름난 성형외과 의사다. 특히 세계적인 미녀를 더욱 아름답게 하는 것으로 유명한데 실제로 그의 손이 닿으면 정말 완벽한 미녀가 완성된다. 그런데 누군가가 이 미녀들의 목숨을 노리기 시작한다. 로버츠의 환자였던 세 모델들이 계속해서 사고나 자살로 위장 살해되기 때문이다. 경찰은 박사에게 혐의를 두고 있고, 박사는 이번엔 4번째 환자인 신디(Cindy: 수잔 데이 분)를 보이지 않는 적으로부터 지키려고 한다. 그러는 동안에 디지탈 매트릭스라는 정체 불명의 연구기계 모델들의 관계가 알려지게 된다. 죽은 여자들은 모두가 이 기관에서 작성한 성형 의뢰 리스트를 가지고 로버츠 박사에게 왔던 것임이 밝혀지는데.
