As every year, the Los Pinos school, a prestigious school of the confessional type, sends its students on retreat to the countryside. Under the watchful eye of teachers and priests, the children are led on the path of their physical and moral development. Through the gaze of several middle and upper class teenagers, the film shows how their upbringing affects the future of society itself.

마틴은 잘 알지도 못하는 소녀에게 푹 빠져버렸다. 그 마음을 온 세상에 알리고 싶지만 문제는 세상은 그다지 관심이 없다는 것. 다니엘은 전직 뮤지션, 현직 택시 기사로 여자 친구를 임신시킨 후 책임감 있는 어른이 되기 위해 일을 시작했다. 하지만 그 결심이 생각처럼 잘 풀리진 않는다. 사나운 고등학교 일진 소녀 돌체. 하지만 돌체는 마음속 깊은 곳에서 사랑을 갈구하는, 누구보다 여린 마음을 가진 소녀이다. 돌체는 지금 누구든 자신의 순결을 가져갈 사람을 기다리고 있다. 페드로는 어른들의 세계에 실망을 느끼고 누구도 알아들을 수 없는 언어를 사용하며 자기만의 세상으로 들어가 버렸다. A woman is recruited to a prison controlled by organized crime while another woman searches for her missing daughter. Through images that submerges us in a journey from north to south Mexico, both testimonies collide and take us to the center of a storm: a country where violence has taken control of our lives, our desires and our dreams.
