Despite of - or because of - being thrown off a bridge by an abusive ex-boyfriend, the unsolved murder of her brother, and the suicide of her identical twin sister, she’s able to channel her trauma into service by helping the often-forgotten people of North Philadelphia. From giving comfort to families of murder victims to saving the lives of over 500 men and women in active opioid addiction, Roz knows that her healing and her survival depends upon healing others.

리셋 리나레스(Lisette Linares: 로렌 벨레즈 분)는 아직 젊지만 한남자의 아내이자 세아이의 어머니다. 그의 남편 치노(Chino Linares: 존 세다 분)는 열심히 일하고 가족에겐 헌신적이지만 그의 보잘 것 없는 직업으로는 가족 돌보기가 빠듯하다. 치노는 리셋이 새 스테레오를 갖고 싶어하자 친구들이 불법적으로 물건을 빼돌리는데 가담하고 결국 감옥에 가게 된다. 리셋은 치노가 갑자기 감옥에 들어가자 세아이와 자신의 생계를 책임져야만 한다. 더구나 치노를 빼내기 위한 보석금까지 마련해야한다. 돈을 구하기 위해 다방면으로 알아보지만헛수고이다. 성전환자인 리셋의 여동생(?) 알렉스(Alexis: 제시 보레고 분)는 그녀에게 모델일을 적극적으로 권한다. 리셋은 용기를 내 모델 에이젼시에 찾아가지만 테스트도 못받고 돌아온다. 어느 날 그녀에게도 행운이 찾아온다. 레코드 회사의 기획자 프라이스의 조수로 채용이 된 것이다. 처음에 리셋을 탐탁하게 여기지않던 프라이스도 그녀가 열심히 일하고 좋은 아이디어를 계속 제출하자 그녀를 인정하고 호감을 갖는다. 한편, 프라이스가 리셋을 바래다주는 것을 본 이웃사람들은 두사람의 관계를 오해하고 그 이야기를 감옥에 있는 치노에게 전하는데.
