Otro Sol is a group of real and invented characters trapped in a film. It is also a purgatory of retired thieves that takes place on the coast of the Atacama Desert. The film is circular and seeks to invent and verify the myth of Alberto Cándia, a Chilean international thief who stole the Cathedral of Cadiz in Andalucia in the late 1980s.

Nina, a 16-year-old girl, dreams of adventure. Meanwhile, she spends the summer between her village in the south of France and the theme park where she works. Just before meeting Morad, a teenage boy from an Algerian family living in the nearby council houses, Nina sees a meteorite falling from the sky which it seems only she can see... like an omen.

Two boys meet by the side of a road. A strange desire drives them to cross the volcanic landscapes of Auvergne together, like a huge treasure hunt. To probe the mysteries that inhabit the mountains, they tell old stories of condemned wizards, spells cast in secret, forgotten sabbaths. Haunted by these stories, they gradually become the protagonists, until these adventures reflect on the present of their meeting.

In mid November, the dead ones appeared floating on the Strait of Magellan tied together to life vests, cellular phones, computers and passports. Two of them were found malnourished, another with scurvy and typhus and Yin Xinji’s body was never found. In June, Carmen’s cousin told her that on the lighthouse close to his ranch, a starving Asian man, hid there for three days before disappearing. Apparently, he headed towards La Pampa.

Struggling against the crisis in Portugal, a mother doubles up jobs to pay the bills since her husband is unemployed. Their teenage daughter tries to keep living everyday life even if the money is running short, which makes everything uneasy. Escaping from their common reality, they slowly become strangers to one another, as the tension grows in silence and in guilt.

제멋대로지만 순수해서 애정이 가는 위기의 30대 파리지엔이 뒤늦게 인생을 배워가는 성장영화. 애인에게 버림받은 폴라는 돈도 없고, 가진 것이라곤 고양이뿐이다. 그녀는 파리로 돌아와 주위의 반응에 아랑곳하지 않은 채, 뻔뻔하며 자기중심적인 삶을 살기로 한다.

테오와 위고는 파리의 한 섹스클럽에서 만난다. 잠자리를 가지며 서로에게 특별한 감정을 나눈 그들은, 클럽에서 나온 후 문득 콘돔을 사용하지 않았다는 사실을 깨닫게 된다. 둘 중 한 명이 에이즈에 양성반응이었으므로, 테오와 위고는 함께 병원에 가서 검사를 받은 후 치료를(의무처리를) 시작한다. 이 사건으로 밤을 지샌 이후 사랑에 빠지는 둘의 모습을 볼 수 있다. (2016년 제6회 서울프라이드영화제)

In the burning heat of July, Thomas and Victor, two 14 years old teenagers, are bored to death and want to escape. Victor decides to take Thomas to an abandoned bridge. He will have to confront his fears and desires.
