Yuta, a young master at the Tsukiji Fish Market, accidentally drops his meal of mixed seafood into the Sumida River. Some time afterwards a gigantic mutated squid monster arises from the depths and begins to wreak havoc upon an awe-stricken Tokyo. Attempts by the Japan Self-Defense Forces to stop the creature prove futile. As it seems things couldn’t get any worse an enormous mutant octopus monster emerges from the deep and heads into a clash of the titans with the gargantuan squid! As a last ditch effort, the government forms the “Seafood Monster Attack Team (SMAT)” and an all-new plan of attack is immediately put into action. But just as the tide appears to be turning in humanity’s favor, a colossal crab monster appears, joining in the Monster Seafood Wars and plunging the world into culinary chaos…

An old man who has been given supernatural powers by a donkey alien plays an active role as a justice hero "Robaman". 68-year-old Yoshimura, who has passed retirement age, is living a lonely day away from his wife and away from his daughter. He reports on the radio and posts on the internet about events and accidents that make noise in the world, but in reality he can't even be alert when faced with interruptions and noisy guests. One day, when he encountered a UFO on the way of a walk, he was mistaken for a fellow by an alien who looks like a donkey.
"또 하나의 결말, 또 한 명의 '도모다치'" 서기 2017년에 해당하는 '도모다치력(ともだち曆) 3년'. 세계는 세계대통령(世界大統領)으로 군림하고 있는 도모다치(ともだち)의 지배 아래 있었고 살인 바이러스가 만연해 도쿄(東京)는 거대한 벽으로 분단되어 버렸다. 그리고 도모다치는 "오는 8월 20일 정오, 인류는 우주인에 의해 멸망당하고 나를 믿는 자만이 구원받는다."고 선언한다. 한편 비밀기지의 동지들은 도모다치의 추격을 피해 몸을 숨기고 있으면서도 저마다 레지스탕스 활동을 벌이고 있었다. 황폐해진 신주쿠(新宿)에 머물고 있던 옷쵸(オッチョ, 도요카와 에츠시)는 반정부조직 '켄지일파(ゲンジ一派)'를 이끄는 요시츠네(ヨシツネ, 카가와 테루유키) 밑에서 떨어져나간 칸나(カンナ, 타이라 아이리)가 더욱 과격한 '얼음여왕(氷の女王)'이라는 조직을 만들고 무장봉기를 계획하고 있다는 사실을 알게 된다. 예전 엄마 대신 칸나를 돌본 유키지(ユキジ, 도키와 다카코)는 그런 칸나가 걱정이지만 칸나는 폭주를 멈추지 않는다. 국민 가수 하루나미오(春波夫, 후루타 아라타)와 행동을 함께 하고 있는 마루오(マルオ, 이시즈카 히데히코)는 행방불명됐던 켄지(ケンヂ, 가라사와 토시아키)의 누나 키리코(キリコ, 구로키 히토미)가 있는 곳을 알아낸다. 그곳에는 동창회 이후 실종됐던 케로욘(ケロヨン, 미야사코 히로유키)도 있었다. 그 무렵 분단된 벽 너머에서 한 남자가 엄중한 경계를 뚫고 경계를 넘으려 하고 있었다. 기타를 매고 야부키 조(矢吹丈, 가라사와 토시아키)라고 자신을 밝힌 남자가 말했다. "나는 칸나를 만나러 간다." 마침내 행방이 묘연했던 켄지가 모습을 드러내고 도쿄를 향해 행동하기 시작했던 것이다. "60억 프로젝트의 최종장!"
며칠 뒤 결혼식을 올릴 예비 신랑인 칸자키는 사체가 훼손된 채 발견되는 엽기적인 연쇄살인의 담당형사이다. 그러나 결혼식 당일 약혼자인 미나가 연쇄살인의 희생자로 발견되자 그는 범인에 대한 복수를 다짐한다. 한편 자신이 죽었다는 사실을 깨닫지 못한 미나는 저승의 문 앞에서 다시 현세로 돌아온다. 부검실에 누워 있는 자신의 시신 앞에서 분노를 참지 못하는 칸자키를 발견한 미나는 그를 말리려 한다. 그러나 그 때, 그녀의 눈에 자신을 죽였다고 생각되는 사람의 사진이 비치는데...

고질라 연구소의 시노다 유지와 과학잡지 기자 이치노세 유키, 그리고 시노다의 딸인 이오는 고질라가 곧 나타날 것이라고 말하며 피해를 대비한다. 그러던 어느 날, 드디어 고질라가 나타나 온갖 시설을 파괴하고 도시를 불바다로 만든다. 한편 카코시마의 바다에서 나타난 괴우주물체다 UFO로 변신하여 고질라를 공격한다. 흉칙한 모습으로 변한 UFO와 고질라는 일대 전투를 벌이게 되는데...

Kyoko Sawai, a TV reporter, is making a report about an idol singer named Emi Kato. Emi and her staff are preparing the promotion of her next tune "Love Craft". And as spiritual accidents happen around her, Kyoko finds out that the woman who composed the tune died seven years before.
