평범해 보이는 어느 성인 나이트 클럽. 그러나 이 곳의 지하에서는 비밀 카드 게임이 벌어지고, LA의 카드 도박꾼들은 한번쯤 그곳을 거치게 된다. 이곳에서는 눈속임과 사기가 유일한 게임의 룰이며, 선수들은 속마음을 들키지 않기 위해 철저히 표정관리를 한다. 이 치열한 게임에서는 선수들마저 속고 모든 승부에는 운이 따라야 한다. 이곳을 드나드는 사람 중 하나인 버논은 카드 기술자이다. 그는 티파니라는 애인을 두고 있다. 그녀는 돈만 벌 수 있다면 남자의 환심을 사는 일쯤은 얼마든지 할 수 있는 여자이다. 그녀의 친구이자 사기꾼인 밀러 역시 돈 뭉치를 위해서 라면 어떤 일이라도 저지를 수 있는 인물이다. 이들이 큰 건 하나를 위해 팀을 결성한다. 그 건이라는 것은 도박계의 전설적인 인물인 큰 손, 딘의 게임에 끼어 한번 올인 해보는 것이다. 그러나 작은 판돈에는 관심이 없는 딘의 판에 끼여들기에는 많은 돈이 필요하다. 돈을 모으기 위해 밀러 일행은 많은 판을 거치고 그 와중에 갱들을 잘 못 건드려 쫓기고 죽음을 당할 뻔하기도 한다.
