The Poet
Julė
A newly appointed teacher arrives at a remote village school in 1947. The famous journalist and distinguished poet was downgraded for illegal publications and forbidden anti-Soviet verses. Suspicious locals still prefer to test his loyalties, while children wilingly recite his verses from 'To My Soviet Motherland', written under pressure to prase Uncle Lenin. Eventually, an unforgotten friend shows him a secret wintery path to the Dainava resistance platoon's underground bunker.

However, the idea is mostly mocked and opposed. Still, there is hope in the secret support from the elderly prime minister, who has become disillusioned with politics.

Using a faceless doll criminal reenacts a brutal crime. But surprisingly he is not the one being judged. There seems to be an odd one out in the investigative group. The film premiered in the Berlinale Short competition programme.

야심 찬 젊은 심리학자 인드레는 병원의 연구 특전을 얻는 대신 두 명의 환자를 다른 정신과 병동으로 이송하는데 마지못해 동의한다. 외향적인 파울리우스는 조울증 조증 단계에 있다. 내면의 상처로 인해 내성적인 주스테와 극단적인 대조를 이루지만 이들은 자신들을 규정하는 내부 세계의 전투를 힘겹게 이끌어 나가는 공통점이 있다. 이들은 바깥 세상으로 나가 친구들과 함께 웃음을 나누며 생존을 위한 여정을 같이하게 된다.

Lithuanian provincial town is facing the economic crisis in 2008. Vytas gets fired from the factory. Pushed by his wife, he immediately starts looking for a new job, but not really successfully. After having his haircut done, Vytas starts looking for a new love affair with a hairdresser Marija, but not really successfully, either. Finally, Vytas gets involved into a third search - he starts looking for a guy who posted video on youtube, claiming he saw Jesus Christ in their town. This is the only time he succeeds.

A camel dies in the local zoo. Paulius and Indre – two caretakers discover it and try to dispose of the dead animal. But it turns out to be a much harder task than they imagined.

This is a documentary film about five actresses of different generations who played the same role of Masha in Anton Chekhov's play 'The Seagull'. Masha is a woman who is in love with Konstantin, unrequitedly and for ever. This role left a mark of some sort in all the actresses' lives. The film is about parallels between their lives and the role they played, it is about the enclosed world of loneliness to which one comes and struggles to leave.
