삼류 건달 잭과 한물 간 라디오 DJ 잭은 억울한 누명을 쓰고 감옥에 갇히는 신세가된다. 하루하루를 무료하게 보내고 있던 중, 이탈리아인 밥이 그들의 감방 동료로 들어오고 밥은 잭과 자크와 어울려 감방 생활에 적응해 나간다. 그러던 어느 날 도주로를 발견한 밥이 탈옥을 제안하고, 셋은 감옥에서 나와 또다른 방랑을 시작한다.
