마츠모토(니시지마 히데토시)는 부모의 강권에 못 이겨 사장 딸과 정략 결혼을 하려 한다. 마츠모토와 오랜 연인인 사와코(칸노 미호)가 실연의 아픔을 이기지 못하고 정신이 이상해지자 이 소식을 전해 들은 마츠모토는 결혼식장을 박차고 나온다. 마츠모토는 실성한 사와코와 자신의 몸을 끈으로 연결한 후 길을 떠난다. 마츠모토와 사와코는 정처 없는 여행 도중 자신들의 처지와 비슷한 커플들을 스쳐 지나가게 된다. 젊은 시절 성공을 위해 사랑을 버린 야쿠자 보스 히로(미하시 타츠야)는 40년이 지난 후 약속을 지키고, 교통사고로 재기 불능의 상태에 놓인 아이돌 스타 하루나(후카다 교코)는 팬으로서 자신을 연모해 스스로 장님이 된 남자 누쿠이(다케시게 츠토무)를 받아들인다.

When the mobster Iwaida Nishikawi is executed by the hit man Takeshi, his family chases the killer. Takeshi's brothers Takashi and Hideshi Miwa try to find Takeshi, who is hidden with the nurse Rie Ishibashi, to protect him and Hideshi discovers that Takeshi was secretly sent by their Yakuza boss to eliminate Iwaida. Meanwhile, the mobster Kenmoshi abducts Takashi's wife Mariko and rapes her, trying to force Takashi to deliver his brother to him.

그는 배 다른 형제인 켄을 찾기 위해LA로 향한다. 새로운 신분증을 갖고 홀로 LA에 들어선 야마모토는 말이 통하지 않는 이방인으로서의 새로운 삶에 좌절한다. 야마모토는 마약을 팔고 있는 켄을 가까스로 찾게 되지만 장소만 바뀌었을 뿐 도쿄에서와 똑같은 폭력배 생활을 계속해간다. 켄의 잔챙이 조직을 시카고 최고의 갱으로 키운 야마모토의 세력은 점점 커지고 사업이 번창하며 돈이 흘러들어 온다. 하지만 이내 야마모토는 젊은 일본인 갱 두목인 시라세와 대면하게 된다. 마피아 세계에서 시라세와 세력을 규합하지 않는다면 결론은 전쟁 뿐인데...

Focusing on the search for Sayaka, a young girl whose mother has recently died. Sayaka’s father, an undercover F.B.I. agent, has had a rough relationship with his daughter since the death of her mother and feels that her kidnapping by the evil Neo-Guild is his fault. Sayaka has been angry at her father because he was away in America while her mother died, leaving her feeling abandoned. Aiding Sayaka's father in the search is Tokusou Robo Janperson! The two don’t get along at first, but things between them go smoother as they continue the search.
