이누이트족은 수 세기 동안 얼어붙은 바다 위에서 살아왔다. 기후 변화로 바닷물이 빠르게 녹자 세상은 재정적 이익을 위해 이를 이용하려 하고 그로 인해 이누이트족과 야생동물들의 삶이 위기에 놓인다. 식민지화로 분열되었던 캐나다와 그린란드의 이누이트족은 그들의 세계를 지키기 위해 힘을 합치기로 한다. 연출의도 내셔널지오그래픽의 해양 보호 프로젝트인 Pristine Seas 제작의 장편 다큐멘터리 는 4년간 다양한 북극 공동체와 수백 명의 사람들의 참여로 만들어졌다.
