During a conference in a hotel, a woman in her mid-thirties meets a man that she used to date in her teenage years. She accuses him of ‘date-rape’ back then. She works at the conference and has to help him prepare for the presentation. They start to talk. It turns out that things were different than she thought for many years.

Lithuanian provincial town is facing the economic crisis in 2008. Vytas gets fired from the factory. Pushed by his wife, he immediately starts looking for a new job, but not really successfully. After having his haircut done, Vytas starts looking for a new love affair with a hairdresser Marija, but not really successfully, either. Finally, Vytas gets involved into a third search - he starts looking for a guy who posted video on youtube, claiming he saw Jesus Christ in their town. This is the only time he succeeds.

A couple gets into an argument about putting their old dog to sleep. When and under what circumstances a person becomes the owner of another's life? The paradox of the humane slaughter act. Which killing methods are acceptable, and which ones aren't?

Vytas is a resident of a blocked houses quarter and he is just as dull as his neighborhood. Though the young guy is over his twenties, he still lives with his parents - spending their days watching TV. Vytas' girlfriend Ona is a bit different - she is independent, knows her likes and dislikes, has some friends - one of which she starts seeing more and more often. This leaves no sunshine in Vytas life at all and makes him wander for the truth in the maze of the blocked houses quarter.

After becoming jobless three homeland unloving emigrants come back to Lithuania for holiday. Where by accident they become entangled in fake businessmen roles and discover their motherland again.
