세계 2차 대전이 끝나고 독립운동이 한창이던 인도네시아를 진압하고자 네덜란드의 평범한 젊은 청년들이 자원 입대를 하게 된다. 별다른 전투가 없는 걸로 알고 자원했던 `요한`은 저항군이 쏜 총에 전우를 잃게 되면서 본격적인 저항군 색출작업에 뛰어 들게 된다. 시간이 지날수록 모든 것은 예상과 다르게 돌아가면서 전쟁은 그에게 잔인한 선택을 강요하게 되는데...

한 의문의 젊은 남자가 몇 달간의 코마에서 깨어난다. 그는 머리에 총상을 입은 채 죽게 방치된 상태로 발견되지만 젊은 인턴 의사 아일린의 보살핌으로 건강을 회복한다. 일종의 부활을 경험한 이 남자가 모든 기억과 정체성을 잃었다는 것을 알게 된 아일린은 그에게 이스마엘이라는 새로운 이름을 지어준다. 찰나의 평화 뒤에 도사리고 있는 위험을 알아채지 못한 채 둘은 금세 가까워진다. 곧 이스마엘과 아일린은 ‘리’라고 불리 우는 미지의 우두머리가 이끄는 가장 잔인한 범죄자 무리와 맞닥뜨리게 된다. 아일린이 이 범죄자들에게 납치되자 이스마엘은 자신이 이 범죄자들과 깊이 관련되어 있음을 직감하게 된다. 자신의 목숨을 살려준 아일린을 반드시 구하기로 마음먹은 이스마엘은 어쩔 수 없이 범죄자들과 자신의 과거를 대면하게 된다. 내용보다는 폭력의 화려함이 강조된 무차별 액션 영화.

There is the fearsome Boss Maung who applies a military system to run his business. Three teenagers look for village girls to have temporary marriages or a "marriage by contract". They are well prepared with Cialis, Viagra, and even rubber bands. Jody, who likes older women, has a "marriage by contract" with Teh Euis, a pretty widow with one child. Dika, who likes it rough, has a "marriage by contract" with Rani who is tough at hitting mattresses when cleaning it, while Rama, who is very picky, is head over heels with Isa’s gentleness and natural beauty. But there is still a long way to go before their mission (to have sex) is accomplished. The sexy Teh Euis always comes up with ridiculous reasons at the "critical" moments while Rani’s feistiness hides a secret; and Isa’s gentleness is threatened by a wicked plan. It is a comic and sensual adventure and the three "heroes" find the feeling that has been behind their raging hormones: love.
