타이페이의 밤, 귀가하던 한 여직공이 골목에서 피살된다. 수사반장 고강영은 피살자의 목에 남겨진 치흔으로 미루어 범인은 독사라고 단정한다. 그러나 00신문의 여기자 이옥정은 그런 수사방향이 잘못된 것임을 지적하고 고반장의 신상문제까지 기사화한다. 이 문제로 고반장과 이옥정은 자주 만나는 동안 친근감을 느끼게 된다. 그런 어느날 밤 두 여인이 또 피살된다. 고반장의 수사 결과 두 가지 사실이 발견된다. 첫째 매번 피리소리가 날 때마다 사건이 발생한다는사실, 둘째 사건이 발생할 때마다 이옥정이 행방불명된다는 사실이다. 또 다른 살인 사건이 발생하던 날, 고반장은 이옥정의 정체를 알아낸다. 이옥정은 3살때 특수한 뱀에게 물린 일이 있었는데 이후 독사처럼 사람을 물어 죽이게 된것이었다.

Two groups of knife-wielding and kicking women in bikinis join forces to kill a gang boss responsible for killing their fathers. But they're not very effective. After three attacks on the culprit, the worst damage he suffered was having his ankle run over by a motorbike. Closer co-operation with a casino boss may help.
