뉴욕에 사는 14살 소년 율리시스는 군인 출신 아버지의 죽음 이후밤낮으로 일하는 엄마를 대신해 엄격한 이모와 어린 동생 사이에서 생활한다. 어렸을 때부터 여자의 하이힐과옷에 흥미를 가지고 자신의 성 정체성에 혼란을 느껴왔던 그는 우연히 같은 고민을 나누는 친구들을 만나게 되고, 이들로부터 토요일 교회의 소수자 모임에 초대 받게 된다. 토요일의 교회는 율리시스에게 음악적인 영감과 성적 정체성에대한 내면의 갈등을 해소해 주는 유일한 탈출구가 된다. (2018년 제8회 서울프라이드영화제)
