Philip and Bastian are lovers. Philip has taken the responsibility to help his older brother’s family in the slums. However, when Bastian pursues painting and can no longer provide for Philip, Philip resorts to hustling in order to help his brother’s family. When Bastian catches Philip being picked up by a gay man in a car, he decides to keep everything inside. Can Philip and Bastian’s love prevail despite the odds?

은 우정과 사랑 그리고 인생에 관한 이야기로서, 똑똑하고 인정 많은 소년인 아파오의 시각으로 전개된다. 오래된 자전거를 찾아 떠나는 여행에서 아파오는 자신의 본성을 찾는다. 아파오의 여행에는 친한 친구 사이인 모모이와 톰톰이 동행하는데, 이야기는 “우리 세 명이서 여름방학을 어떻게 보낼까?라는 질문에서 시작하고 있다. 톰톰은 자전거로 한 시간 거리에 있는 자기 삼촌의 양어지에 가자고 한다. 아파오와 모모이는 자전거가 없다. 지프도 없을 뿐더러 걷기에는 너무 멀다. 모모이는 오래된 자전거를 발견하지만 자전거 주인인 티타 매기라는 이름의 여인은 100 페소를 요구한다. 모모이는 그렇게 하겠다고 하면서 다음날 돈과 함께 반납하겠다고 약속한다. 이를 시작으로 아파오와 그의 친구, 가족 그리고 마을 전체에까지 영향을 미치는 일련의 사건들이 일어나게 된다. 결국 40년 묵은 낡은 자전거가 과거와 현재를 연결시켜 주며 상처를 치유하는 촉매가 됨으로써 오랫동안 묻혀 있던 연애 사건을 되살려 낸다.

After her mother dies in childbirth, a blind little girl has to learn to live with her wealthy father’s new wife—her new stepmother—and her two children. After her stepmother purposely leaves her alone outside a crowded church, she is found by an old fisherman, who raises her as his own daughter.
Production Design
Set during the post-Marcos regime in a remote village of Dolores, chronicles the life of Jimmy Cordero, a political prisoner who have just been freed from prison after the decline of the Marcos dictatorship. From his revolutionary past, he got himself into human rights activism following his prison release. He and his wife’s brother once conducted a fact-finding mission to Dolores only to find out the terror brought about to its residents by the Orapronobis, a government backed anti-communist paramilitary troop deployed in the town of Dolores.
