A current of thought unites the three episodes in a coherent way, embodied with few elements, and that makes of space, time, and movement, purely cinematographic modes of expression. Voice is not needed. Yes there are sounds, music, but not human voices, as in primitive cinema. There are faces, slow or fast movements, despair, fatality, a barely glimpsed horror, desire and fear of freedom. There is also love, perhaps as an illusion, rather than as a reality.

Two young kids growing up in the rodeo cowboy life form a foundation with each other and family. He becomes a Champion Rodeo cowboy and special forces soldier but is crushed by war and personal loss. She must watch him struggle. He must draw on faith and the "cowboy way" to reclaim his will to live and the love of his life.

헤이절(샤니 빈슨)과 그의 동료들은 어는 부호의 딸을 납치하여 인질극을 벌이기로 작정하게 된다. 그리고 계획했던 대로 부호의 집에 몰래 들어가 그 집에 혼자있던 캐서린(칼린 버첼)을 납치하게 되는 사람들. 하지만 그때부터 뭔가의 이상한 일들이 발생하기 시작하고, 캐서린은 '나를 풀어주지 않으면 너희는 모두 죽을 것'이라는 기괴한 말을 늘어놓게 된다. 더구나 캐서린의 집에서는 딸의 납치 사실에도 아무런 반응이 없었고, 결국 에이드(스티븐 존 워드)와 제임스(Gustav Gerdener)는 그 집을 다시 찾아가게 된다. 하지만 발견된 것은 주검이 된 사람들의 모습. 과연 그 집에서는 무슨 일이 일어나고 있었던 것일까?
