Ahmed Ragab

약력

An Egyptian satirical journalist, born on November 20, 1928 in Alexandria. He obtained a BA in law. While studying at the college, he issued with others the magazine University News, which helped him meet Mustafa and Ali Amin. He worked in the office of the newspaper Akhbar El Yom in Alexandria, then he moved to Cairo, took over the editorial secretariat, and had a daily fixed article in the form of a brief satirical message titled Half a Word. He collaborated with the cartoonist Mustafa Hussein in making the cartoons of Akhbar El Yom, creating numerous memorable characters. He also had a weekly article in Al Shorouk newspaper. He died after a struggle with illness on September 12, 2014.
