Born in Paris in 1993, Magdalena Froger studied video art for a year before enrolling in the cinema section at ECAL in 2013. While there, she directed two short films on the edge between video art and cinema: Les Intranquilles (2017) and Abigaïl.

Wilchaan and Marie-Lou have just started their studies as professional dancers at the strict Codarts School in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Away from their home and family for the first time in their lives, they are confronted with absence and loneliness, stretching the limits of their bodies day after day. Prologue is an intimate and singular journey along their side, as they both find their own way to adulthood through dancing and friendship.
