2020년 5월, 도쿄에서 전례 없는 상황에 어려움을 겪고 있는 젊은이들에 대한 이야기. 마나부와 루는 도쿄의 황량한 지역에서 차를 몰고 있다. 루는 돈을 벌기 위해 아마추어 포르노를 찍어보자고 제안하고, 마나부에게 비디오카메라를 빌려 여배우 사쿠라를 만난다. 영상을 찍는 동안, 사쿠라와 루는 각자의 삶에 대해 이야기하고, 희망차게 하루를 마무리한다. 마나부와 같이 사는 유카는 재택 격리 시행 때문에, 집에서 그녀의 팬들과 인스타그램으로 소통한다. 유카는 코로나 상황에도 불구하고 계속 외출을 하는 마나부에 불만을 토로한다. 알고 보니 마나부는 중년 남자와 불법 만남을 하고 있었다. 히사노는 루이는 결혼한 사이다. 루이의 회사에서 코로나 때문에 큰 프로젝트가 취소되었고, 히사노와 루이 서로 냉랭하게 지내며 살고 있다. 점점 커지는 스트레스를 해소하기 위해 히사노는 능력 있는 대학교 친구인 다아키의 집으로 향하는데… 과연 그들에겐 어떤 일이 일어날까?

일본에서 기술인턴비자로 일을 하던 푸옹, 안, 누는 더 나은 일자리를 찾아 어촌마을로 도망쳐 나온다. 불법체류자 신분이지만 희망을 꿈꾸던 이들. 어느날 갑자기 푸옹이 고향에 두고 온 애인의 아이를 임신했다는 사실을 알게 되고, 그녀의 산부인과 진료를 위해 문서위조를 의뢰한다.

Myanmar-based director Fujimoto returns after his documentary-like feature drama Passage of Life (JC 2018) with an affective, drama-like documentary. The local Zomi people of the Chin State in western Myanmar dig to recover the remnants of 30,000 Japanese soldiers who fell in the “Battle of Imphal” 75 years ago—a form of daily labor for the Zomi that is complicated by the fact that many Burmese people died in the battle fighting for the Japanese. In this Japanese-Myanmar co-production, Fujimoto trains the camera to unravel the multiple perspectives and consider the act of digging up bones as both a metaphysical and physical act of reconciliation.

일본에서 난민 인정을 기다리며 지내는 미얀마인 가족이 직면한 어려움을 그려낸 작품. 모국 미얀마에서 민주화 운동에 참여했던 남자 주인공은 아내 그리고 두 아들과 일본에서 난민으로 인정받을 날을 기다리고 있다. 하지만 난민 신청은 인정받지 못하고 그는 입국 관리국에 붙잡힌다. 일본에서의 생활에 불안을 강하게 느낀 아내는 두 아들을 데리고 모국 미얀마로 돌아가는데 일본어를 쓰며 자란 아이들 또한 익숙하지 않은 미얀마 땅에서 불안과 고독감을 깊이 느끼게 된다.

Coco, a Beijing modern girl wants to spend a romantic and fancy Christmas vacation in Osaka. However the place where she gets in is Shinsekai ( "New World" in English, is an old neighbourhood located next to south Osaka city's downtown "Minami " area, as known as one of the most poorest and dangerous area in Osaka.)When she arrives there, she starts feeling regret and frustrated by the encounters and the landscapes which are far beyond her expectation. Suddenly she is involved in an incident surrounds a Chinese family there, meanwhile she starts fascinated by Shinsekai through her wondering. In this short and unusual Christmas vacation, Coco discovers a "Japan " she never knows and a "China" that she is not familiar with.
