Director
On a jog home (tired) rapidly looks at the ground each step transporting them islands the sun is setting and long the day is almost over again they can't seem to think about anything in particular but They take a detour after sometime eventually They make it home to the cat they have been jogging every night for the last six months it give some space from their work and house.
Overwhelmed by society, a young man drifts from the bustle of the city streets to an urban bushland, where he encounters a fellow outlier.

고집불통 개구쟁이 아홉살 맥스는 외롭다. 아빠는 떠났고, 누나는 놀아주지 않는데다 왠일인지 엄마는 늘 바쁘기만 하다. 어느 날 엄마의 새 남자친구 때문에 심통이 난 맥스는 한바탕 소동을 피우고 엄마에게 꾸중을 들은 뒤 집을 뛰쳐나간다. 작은 배를 타고 여행을 떠난 맥스. 바다를 가로질러 소년이 도착한 곳은 바로 ‘괴물들이 사는 나라’. 그곳에서 맥스는 신비롭고 이상하고 거대한 괴물들과 조우하는데, 그들은 오랜 시간 동안 자신들의 지도자가 되어줄 누군가를 기다려왔다. 결국 맥스는 괴물들이 사는 나라의 왕이 되고 모두가 행복할 수 있는 나라를 만들겠다고 다짐한다. 하지만 맥스의 뜻대로 통치는 순탄치만은 않다.
