스티브 지소는 해양학자 겸 다큐멘터리 영화감독이다. 지금까지 7편의 해양 다큐멘터리를 만들었으며, 마지막 7편을 찍던 도중 지금껏 한번도 보지 못했던 괴물 상어에게 절친한 동료를 잃었다. 그러나, 이 중요한 장면은 그가 카메라를 놓치는 바람에 덩달아 놓치고 말았다. 스티브는 이 괴물 상어의 몸에 표범무늬가 있었다며 이를 표범상어라 이름짓고, 앞으로 제작할 8편에서는 그 상어를 찾아내 친구의 복수를 하고야 말겠다고 다짐한다. 하지만, 그의 말을 믿어주는 이는 아무도 없다. 예전에는 꽤 괜찮았던 시절이 있었다. 사람들의 관심도 많았고, 언론도 호의적이었다. 하지만, 이제는 아무도 그의 영화에 돈을 대려고 하지 않는다. 이 때 네드 플린턴이라는 청년이 등장한다. 얼마전 암으로 사망한 그의 어머니 말에 따르면 스티브 지소가 네드의 생물학적 아버지라고 한다. 스티브 지소는 생전 처음 본 청년이 자신의 아들이란 사실에 얼떨떨하지만 그는 네드에게 지소 팀에 합류할 것을 권한다. 그리고, 네드가 유산을 다큐멘터리에 투자한 덕분에 자금 모집은 수월하게 해결되고, 마침내 제8편을 위한 항해가 시작되는데...

Set Decoration
Set in 1940’s and 50’s Sicily (Paternò), we follow the fortunes of Rosetta from the time she’s twelve (Larissa Volpentesta) and living with her drunken father Leone (Harvey Keitel) – he’d turned to alcohol to forget Rosetta’s mother, Vipera (Elide Melli), after she ran away with a fascist some time ago. Little Rosetta’s fortunes turn for the worse when she’s raped and made pregnant by another former fascist (Giancarlo Giannini), and Leone also dies after falling from his bicycle. She’s sent to live in a convent until the age of twenty one, and her newborn child will cruelly be adopted out by her visiting mother.

Palermo, Sicily, 1984. Examining magistrate Giovanni Falcone allies with Tomasso Buscetta, a former mobster, to defeat the clan of Corleone, the ruthless Mafia faction that rules Cosa Nostra with an iron hand, cruelly eliminating all those who dare to oppose its immense power: other criminals, policemen, judges, even innocent civilians. Ugo Fantozzi has been ejected from Heaven and is sent back to Earth for a short period of time until the staff in Heaven can get Fantozzi a place there. Fantozzi goes through a variety of unfortunate experiences, such as rescuing his retro punk granddaughter Uga, and having to pay a vast telephone bill due to frequent chat line conversations. He ends up getting arrested instead of his ex-boss, who was originally charged with corruption. Just as he is about to enjoy the World Cup Final with Italy, he is called back into Heaven. Can he find peace once again?
