Ganga is a young and beautiful girl. She is brutally raped by a a group of thugs that have terrorized her village. She pleads with the Goddess Durga, who empowers her with strength and a trident to exact her revenge, making her a hungry lion (bhooka sher).

A slacker falls in love with a rich girl. Now he must impress her father to marry her.

The story follows Abdullah (Mohanlal) who is hired by the members of a wealthy royal family to assassinate the family head Maharaja Udayavarma (Nedumudi Venu). Abdullah comes into the royal palace under the disguise Ananthan Namboothiri, a classical singer, and tries to use this mask to softly kill the Maharaja.

Savitri (Moushumi Chatterjee) falls in love with Vijay (Mithun Chakraborty), who saves her sister from a dacait named Shamshera (Amrish Puri). Both get very intimate, and then decide to marry. Before the marriage could take place, Shamshera kills Vijay, and Savitri gives birth to a baby boy, but is told that the child was born dead. She then marries Thakur Prem Singh (Navin Nischal), who is responsible for blinding Shamshera in one eye, and sending him to prison. Subsequently Savitri gives birth to another baby boy, Rajesh (Sumit Saigal). Years later, she comes across a young man named Ravi (also Mithun Chakraborty)

Jagmohan, a prominent businessman with underworld dealings, approaches renowned advocate Kailash Nath, to represent his son who has been charged with murder and may face the death penalty. Kailash refuses to do so, and Jagmohan's son is hanged. Angered, Jagmohan kills Kailash's wife, Laxmi and child in front of him, and escapes. He is eventually arrested and brought to trial, but is found not guilty. Kailash decides to avenge this on his own, but Jagmohan has left the country. On his arrival back, Kailash carries out his vendetta against him, and Jagmohan is charged with killing a man, arrested, found guilty, and sentenced to die. Thus Kailash carries out his vengeance against Jagmohan. Now Kailash is faced with advocate Ajay Verma, who has molested his sister, Shilpa. Watch how Kailash's anger spotlights Ajay, and wreck havoc and chaos in his life. And there is no one on Earth who can possibly save Ajay from Kailash's wrath.

David is an old prisoner, released after twenty-four years in a penitentiary for a crime he hasn't committed. The three men who framed him and sent him away, are now prominent citizens of his town. Poona-based Satish is a professional photographer and lives with his pregnant wife, Sudha, and son named Vinod. While developing some photographs with his friend, Shyamlal, they come across one that shows a man strangling another. They report this to the police, and shortly thereafter several men show up at Satish's house, take the photos,the negative, kill Satish, then go to hunt and kill Sudha, Vinod and Shyamlal, but they manage to escape and travel to Bombay, albeit separately. Sudha gives birth to a boy and names him Ravi. Years later, Vinod, who lives with Shyamlal, is a police inspector, while Ravi, who has taken to a life of crime, works for a gangster/respectable citizen named J.D. alias Jogeshwar Dayal - a man who Shyamlal can identify as their father's killer, and the very man who has just given Ravi a contract to kill Vinod.

When Sanam's family opposes to her relationship with Karan, they elope together. Karan's friend, Uncle Joe, saves them from the goons who hunt them down and suggests them to take a holiday.

Once upon a time in a village a dacoit named Daku Mangal Singh (Ranjeet) harasses the villagers for lagaan, When Inspector-in-charge Vijay (Girish Karnad) gets transferred to that village he encounters Daku Mangal Singh (Ranjeet) and makes a plan to set the village free of the menace. This story is about five criminals who were taken by the inspector-in-charge Vijay for help to the village. Inspector Vijay take those criminals at his own risk as the higher authority denies his approval. Daku Mangal Singh also exploits women in the village. Does Vijay succeed in his mission.

When a police officer is framed for bribery by a criminal, his younger brother creates a secret identity for himself and poses as underworld figure Mr Natwarlal, determined to slowly but surely get revenge on his brother's behalf.
