Late September takes place over a 24-hour period, in a beautiful Kent house and garden, and follows the course and aftermath of a birthday celebration organised by a middle-aged woman for her husband to whom she has been married for nearly 40 years. As the day and night progress, old rifts, new relationships and secrets emerge amongst friends, and the underlying tensions in the marriage can no longer be contained.

존 윌슨은 유능한 영화감독이다. 그러나 그는 이윤을 앞세우기 보다 자기 나름대로의 활약을 앞세운다. 폴 랜더즈는 제작자로서 당연히 이윤을 추구한다. 랜더즈를 백인시하는 존 윌슨이라는 랜더즈가 제작하려는 영화의 감독을 맡는다. 후배이자 작가인 피트 버릴에게 대본의 수정을 의뢰하고 촬영 현장인 아프라카에 같이 가기로 한다. 존 윌슨은 아프라카에 가면 영화촬영 보다는 코끼리 사냥을 하려고 속으로 벼르고 있다. 실제론 선발대로 아프라카에 도착하자 사냥에만 열을 올린다. 로케 현장물색등엔 관심도 없다. 그런 와중에서도 스탭들은 촬영준비에 바쁘다. 존 윌슨은 코끼리 사냥이 나쁘다는걸 알면서도 죄많은 자기는 자연을 파괴하는 그런 행위를 해야한다는 것. 피트는 그런 존을 말리지만 막무가내이다. 2,3일 뒤에 주연급 배우등, 촬영장비, 인원 등이 모두 도착한다. 존은 지벨린스키 라는 운영업자에게 부탁 코끼리 사냥에 나간다. 코끼리 사냥은 특히 새끼가 딸린 암컷들이있는 곳에서는 위험하다. 존이 노리는건 아주 큰 숫코끼리다. 촬영준비가 다 됐는데 비가와 촬영할 수 없다는 구실로 존은 코끼리 사냥만을 생각한다. 날씨가 좋아서 막 촬영할 참인데 코끼리떼를 발견했다는 토인의 전갈, 랜더즈의 만류를 뿌리치고 달려간다. 과연 큰 코끼리와 대결...

런던 토박이임을 자랑으로 여기는 바이올렛(Violet Kray: 빌리 화이트로 분)은 1934년 쌍둥이 아들 로날드(Ronald Kray: 게리 켐프 분)와 레지날드(Reggie Kray: 마틴 켐프 분)를 낳는다. 전쟁의 혼란 속에서도 두 아이를 끔찍히 키웠지만, 성장한 두 아들은 거리를 주름잡는 불량배 조직의 두목으로 부상한다. 처절한 싸움 끝에 쌍둥이 형제가 런던을 장악한 것이다. 동생 레지날드는 양가집 규수와 결혼도 하지만, 아내 프란시스(Frances: 케이트 하디 분)가 암흑가 내부 생활에 적응하지 못해 자살한다. 레지날드는 폐인이 되다시피하고, 조직을 떠나 슬픔에 빠진다. 자연히 조직의 기강은 해이해지고 여지껏 쌍둥이의 위력에 숨죽이던 세력들이 기지개를 켜기 시작한다. 위기를 느낀 로날드는 동생과 조직을 구하기 위해 반대 세력의 소탕작전을 펴서 두 세력을 철저하게 응징한다. 그러나 쌍둥이도 결국은 법망에 걸려 종신형을 선고받고, 현재 수감 중인데..

During the event, they must determine who is to take over the family brewing empire, since the present head of the business, Sir Frederick, is getting old. The results of the 1945 general election causes a major stir, and some angry farmers occupy a barn.

One of Cannon Films' two 1976 Italian-Israeli co-productions starring Lee Van Cleef and Leif Garrett (Gianfranco Parolini's Pistola di Dio was the other), this spaghetti western was actually shot in the Middle East by American director Joseph Manduke. Pop star Garrett plays Tom, a teenager who teams with a black gunfighter named Isaac (Jim Brown) to avenge his family. The culprit was McClain (Van Cleef), a sadistic outlaw who carried out the brutal rape-massacre, but his role is minor, as most of the film deals with Tom's maturation and coming to terms with his feelings. Omnipresent 1970s character actors Glynnis O'Connor and John Marley co-star. If there is anything remarkable about Kid Vengeance, it is Francesco Masi's fine musical score, but the film is otherwise anemic.

An elegy to a younger generation looking for something to believe in, Made co-stars hugely influential folk-rock musician Roy Harper in his screen debut. Produced by Joseph Janni – who previously made the astonishingly successful Poor Cow with White – directed by The Long Good Friday's John Mackenzie and featuring new songs specially composed by Harper.
