오브리는 친구의 갑작스런 죽음으로 그의 고향을 방문한다. 비통하고 슬픈 하루를 지내고 난 아침. 갑자기 주변의 모든 사람들이 고통스런 피의 흔적을 남긴 채 사라지기 시작한다. 그리고 친구가 남긴 수수께끼 같은 녹음 테이프들을 발견하면서 진실을 파헤치기 시작한다. 미지의 존재들과 지구를 장악한 거대생물체. 오브리는 모든 사실을 알아내고 절규하는데……
