지구 온난화로 인해 빙하가 녹게 되고 그 안에서 맘모스가 발견된다. 맘모스 안에 기생해있던 고대곤충이 함께 해빙되어 사람들의 몸 속에 침투하게 되고, 사람들이 희생되기 시작한다.

A young man, bored with his monotonous daily routine (which includes being pushed around at school by jocks and holding a loaded gun to his head), joins an organised group of rebels (led by a cable-TV repairman) who abduct teenagers who have become complacent with their mundane existences.
