Eva, an idealistic prison officer, is faced with the dilemma of her life when a young man from her past gets transferred to the prison where she works. Without revealing her secret, Eva asks to be moved to the young man’s ward – the toughest and most violent in the prison. Here begins an unsettling psychological thriller, where Eva’s sense of justice puts both her morality and future at stake.

The film is a Kafkaesque tale of an insignificant Water Inspector who arrives at a giant remote building in order to register the residents’ water meters. Before he knows of it, he finds himself trapped inside the building facing an “Alice in NO-Wonderland”-like maze of obstacles. In his attempt to escape, perception of reality, the rational, and the remnants of his human existence is turned upside down.

Katrine leads a normal life, with a normal job and a normal relationship. But one day she awakes to find the world around her has changed. Or rather, its the same but she is seeing it with different eyes, noticing things she never saw before. Her reality starts to crumble. She becomes aware of small discontinuities in time and space, abruptly she is whipped from one place to another. Then she takes a closer look at the everyday objects around her, things she has seen and touched many times before are now flat, falling apart, fake.

After several years together, William and Cecilie break up. To treat the sorrow with love the same night they decide to do the drug MDMA together. This results in a emotional roller coaster ride over a whole weekend, where they're isolated together in their apartment.
