국민가수인 “오로라”와 10년 이상을 함께한 안무가 “호킨스”는 남편과 이혼하고 자식도 없이 홀로 자신의 커리어에만 몰두하며 살아간다. 오로라와 동료들을 가족같이 생각하며 의지하던 호킨스도 이제 안무가로서는 너무 많은 나이와 부상 등으로 몸에 이상이 생기기 시작하고 오로라 또한 은퇴 공연을 준비한다. 한편, 엄마와 같은 훌륭한 가수를 꿈꾸던 오로라의 딸 “팔로마”는 자신에겐 엄마와 같은 재능이 없음에 좌절하고 더는 노래하길 원치 않지만 엄마의 마지막 무대에 함께 서야만 한다. 수년 동안 함께 해온 익숙한 무대지만 갑자기 모든 걸 뜯어고치려는 새로운 연출 감독과 호킨스의 과거를 파헤치는 의문의 기자가 등장하며 마지막 공연 준비는 생각처럼 진행되지 못한다. 결국 함께하던 안무가들은 모두 그만두겠다고 팀을 나가고 호킨스는 위기를 해결하기 위해 결단을 내리는데....전설적인 안무가 호킨스의 마지막 공연과 국민가수인 엄마의 그늘에 가려진 삶을 사는 팔로마의 첫 번째 공연은 과연 잘 치러질 수 있을 것인가?
