Nineteen-year-old David dreams of being a concert pianist on the international stage. Although his talent made him special in his home town, he soon realizes that at the conservatory he is but one of many talented students.

The film is set in the near future, in a world of perfect capitalism. Society is sustained by a class of top achievers; meanwhile, so-called minimum recipients live under sedation in Fortresses of Sleep. The great majority of top achievers view themselves as happy. An outsourced agency has been established for the rest: Life Guidance is charged with turning these individuals into optimal people as well. Alexander has internalized the system but one wrong word to his child triggers Life Guidance. He starts to rebel and encounters the horror of the system in all its brightness and affability.

This short follows Gregor Samsa from Franz Kafka's "The Metamorphosis". It is set in the modern world and shows the events leading up to Kafka's metamorphosis. Gregor is a young man working for a textile company, who breaks down mentally after his job becomes overwhelming. He slowly loses his sanity and touch with reality.

His wife Claire is on the other side of the world on a beach at a luxury resort, drunk, also in the dark, but apparently with another man. An adulterous affair, or a life in danger? In the harrowing wait and frantic calls that follow, is it his marriage, his wife or his sanity that is most under threat? The telephone line is the single fragile thread that connects them. All Henry can do is to hang onto that phone.

A few weeks after palliative nurse Hans spends New year's eve completely with new acquaintance Simone, she finds herself pregnant, unplanned. Deals with the life, work, and tragic death of Johann "Falco" Hölzel. The biopic portrays his work through his early days, as member of the Viennese band "Drahdiwaberl", and later with his own hits as solo artist, like "Der Kommissar", "Wiener Blut", and his worldwide smash-hit "Rock Me Amadeus".

While living with her grandmother in Poland, a young woman falls in love. Her boyfriend is charming and suggests they travel around Europe and work here and there to pay for their trip. Unfortunately, the boyfriend isn't as he seems and the young woman is sold as a prostitute when they cross over to Germany. We follow her ordeal as she tries to free herself and stay sane as time goes by and her captors try to break and condition her to a new life of servitude.

Angel Express is a film about people restlessly seeking for the ultimate experience. Set in late nineties Berlin, it shows images of radical change: Young urban heroes in the glare of flashlights; an environment in which coldness and affection or lust for power and friendship go hand in hand.

The story revolves around the lives of a group of international fashion models, focusing on the main character, Fabrice. The film examines the hollowness of his glamorous lifestyle, leading to self discovery and ultimately a personal catharsis (and his own death). The film is based on (really, inspired by) the French Book, L'Education Sentimentale, by Gustave Flaubert.

오스트리아의 여름은 아름답지만 약간 서늘하다. 티롤계곡의 저녁은 예고 없이 어두워지곤 한다. 호숫가 별장으로 향하는 게오르그 가족의 자동차를 내려다보는 높은 카메라는 이들의 왜소함을 강조하는 듯하다. 그들은 헨델, 모짜르트를 좋아하고, 함께 휴가를 즐길 이웃이 기다리고 있다. 그러나 그들을 맞이한 이웃의 태도는 어딘가 냉랭한 기운이 감돈다. 이상한 느낌이지만 크게 신경 쓸 일은 아니다. 게오르그의 부인 안나는 짐을 대충 정리하고 저녁을 준비한다. 이때 찾아든 낯선 청년 피터, 이웃의 에바가 보냈다며 달걀 4개를 빌려 달라고 한다. 이웃 에바의 사촌이라고 나타난 피터, 청년의 행동이 어딘가 이상하다. 전화기를 물에 빠뜨리지 않나, 달걀을 깨먹질 않나, 달걀을 더 내놓으라고 태연자약하게 요구하질 않나, 낯선 청년 폴의 등장은 더욱 안나를 불쾌하게 하고 신경이 날카로워진 안나는 그들에게 나가라는 요구를 하게 된다. 악의라고는 찾아볼 수 없던 청년들의 태도가 돌변하고 안나와 게오르그는 어쩔 줄 몰라한다. 골프채로 가볍게 게오르그의 다리를 부러뜨리고 관객을 향한 눈짓과 함께 재밌는 게임이 시작된다. 도저히 상상할 수 없는 게임이 펼쳐진다. 폴과 피터는 안나가족을 내일 오전 9시까지 모두 죽인다는 전제 아래 게임을 시작하며 관객에게도 참여할 것을 요구한다. 객석을 향한 폴의 눈길이 한없이 불편하지만, 조종권은 이미 그들에게 있다. 그리고 차례차례 죽어가는 살인 파티. 왜 이들은 반항하지 않는가라는 의문은 쓸데없는 일, 리모트 콘트롤을 이용한 반전은 왜 이들이 무기력하게 죽어갈 수 밖에 없는지 설명한다.

영화는 돼지들이 무참히 살육되는 영상으로 시작된다. 이 장면은 주인공 베니가 반복해서 돌려보는 영상물 중 하나이기도 하다. 부유한 집안에서 자랐지만, 고립되고 단절된 생활을 하는 베니는 그의 비디오 카메라를 통해서만 세상을 경험할 뿐이다. 우연히 만나 친구가 된 여자아이를 죽이고 그 장면을 카메라에 담아 부모에게 보여주는 베니. 부모는 이 살인사건을 은폐하려고 하는데...
