슈퍼마켓 체인을 경영하는 집안의 외아들인 마르시알은 우울증으로 요양소에서 얼마간 지낸 뒤 퇴원한다. 아내와도 이혼 일보직전인데다가 자신이 관여하는 회사업무에도 큰 흥미를 느끼지 못하는 그의 일상생활 복귀를 돕기 위해 회사 경영주인 어머니는 그에게 색다른 임무를 맡긴다. 실적이 저조한 지방도시 지점 다섯 곳을 닷새 동안 돌며 회계감사를 실시하는 것이다. 첫 행선지인 리모주 지점에서 마르시알은 장부에서 수상한 점들을 발견한다. 그는 하루에 한 곳씩 예정된 방문 일정을 무시하고 아예 시내에 아파트를 장기로 임대하여 머무르면서 지점장인 퐁프랭을 압박하고 마침내 그가 저지른 부정을 알아낸다.
Set Decoration
Nina, young girl from the provinces discovering the capital, meets people by chance, and carries out apprenticeship of the theatre and love. Paulot first of all, reassuring figure of an ordinary man, solid as a rock. Then Quentin, a fallen actor tormented by a past drama, violent as lightning. Finally, Scrutzler, an inflexible and exhausted director who chooses Nina, throws her on the stage. A revelation is born through these three meetings. But, it is with herself that Nina has an appointment.
Art Direction
American tour guide Mo Alexander misses her tour group, and then her flight out of Paris. Stuck in the city of romance, Mo runs into the very suave -- and very married -- Xavier, who attempts to seduce Mo while his family is out of town. His charms prove hard to resist, and Mo succumbs, though her conscience weighs heavy. Soon their bickering romance of convenience takes a serious turn, and, in spite of himself, Xavier finds he's falling in love.
Production Design
Liberty Belle tells the story of a group of student's involvement with a group who oppose the French Algerian war. The film premiered at the 1983 Cannes Film Festival.
