마피아 보스의 아들이자 미술을 좋아하는 마이클은 자신의 아버지가 죽기 전에 팔아 버린 ′핑크 마릴린′ 그림을 되찾고자 한다.
그는 그림의 운반원 셰이키를 붙잡지만, 그림의 행방이 묘연하다.
셰이키가 빈센트라는 스턴트맨의 가방에 그림을 숨겨 둔 것이다.
한편, 빈센트의 남동생이자 미술 평론가인 존은 자신의 갤러리를 오픈하기 위한 투자금을 구하느라 애쓰고, 미술관에서 일하는 존의 여자친구 새라는 자신이 담당하게 된 전시회에 마이클의 작품도 전시한다.
그들은 ′핑크 마릴린′을 두고 대치하는 사이가 되고, 그 결과 마이클과 존이 죽고 새라가 ′핑크 마릴린′ 진품을 받게 된다.

Falcino, a small town in the south of Italy. No one sees. No one hears. Nobody talks. But everyone knows. Gerardo decides to emigrate to Austria to earn more money so as to allow a more comfortable life for the family. This absence will be the beginning of a nightmare that will lead Maria and her daughter to be victims of abuse of an unscrupulous ogre (monster).
