동물들과 이야기를 나누는 특별한 능력을 지닌 두리틀 박사는 바쁜 와중에도 늘 동물들의 치료를 돕는다. 그러던 어느날 그 도시의 숲의 대장 비버로부터 만나달라는 부탁을 받고 그를 찾아간다. 그 자리에서 비버는 목재 사업가들의 욕심으로 인해서 숲이 벌목 될 것이고, 그렇게 되면 수많은 동물들이 집을 읽게 될 거라며 도와달라는 부탁을 받는다. 두리틀 박사는 자신이 관여하기에는 너무 큰 문제라서 망설이지만, 결국 동물들을 돕기로 하고 계획을 추진해간다. 숲에 멸종위기의 동물이 있을 경우 벌목 사업을 중지시킬 수 있음을 안 두리틀 박사는 그 숲에 멸종위기의 암컷 곰인 '아바'가 살고 있음을 알아내고 벌목 사업을 1달간 연기시킨다. 그리고 곰 수컷을 숲에 데려와서 새끼들을 볼 수 있다면 그 숲은 영구적으로 보존될 수 있음을 알게 된다. 두리틀 박사는 서커스단에서 공연을 하던 패시픽 웨스턴 곰 수컷 '아키'를 찾아내서 야생으로 돌려보내려고 온갖 노력을 하지만 도시에 살며, 빈정거리기 좋아하고, 패스트 푸드를 먹으며 서커스 공연을 하는 이미 길들여진 생활에 익숙해진 야키를 야생으로 보내는 건 너무도 힘든 일이다. 여러 번 포기하려던 위기를 맞지만 가족들과 동물들의 도움으로 그 위기를 무사히 넘기고 마침내 두리틀 박사는 '아키' 를 야생으로 돌려보내는 데 성공하는데.

The Six compete against other dancers to win a chance to compete in the grand finale at the Little Miss Orange County Beauty Pageant. The other members of the Six are Melanie Hutsell as an airhead, Margaret Cho as a oral fixated sex maniac, Brett Paesel as the leader's homosexual lover, Bruce Daniels as the African-American member with a penchant for misuse of black slang, and Michael Irpino as another more stereotypical gay dancer. Lots of cameos from tv stars occur in the various dance numbers. But this comedy does take most of its cues from "The Full Monty" rather than from other major dance films.

로빈(Robin Harris: 레슬리 만 분)과 동거하던 스티븐 코박스(Steven Kovacs: 메튜 브로데릭 분)는 그녀에게 청혼했다가 퇴짜맞자 따로 아파트를 얻어 혼자 산다. 코박스를 딱하게 여긴 친구 릭(Rick: 잭 블랙 분)은 그에게 케이블을 신청해보라고 권한다. 케이블 설치공에게 가설비 외에 웃돈으로 50달러를 슬쩍 쥐어주면 24시간 영화 프로그램을 공짜로 가설받을 것이라고 귀뜸과 함께. 연락을 받고 찾아온 케이블 가이(Chip Douglas: 짐 캐리 분)는 코박스에게 우량 고객용 서비스는 물론 온갖 호의를 다 베푼다. 코박스가 로빈과 사이가 나빤진 것까지 알고 있는 케이블 가이는 코박스가 로빈과 다시 가까워질 수 있도록 묘수를 가르쳐 준다. 그런 케이블 가이가 코박스도 싫지는 않다. 그러나 케이블 가이의 호의는 악몽의 시작이었다. 어느날, 농구 경기 중에 케이블 가이가 보인 괴팍한 성질을 목격하고 코박스는 그를 멀리하고 싶어한다. 그러자 케이블 가이는 코박스의 호감을 사기위해 가라오케 장비와 하이파이 오디오 시스템 등을 구해와서 코박스의 기분을 맞춰주며 선심을 산다. 로빈과 헤어져 외로움을 느끼고 있는 코박스에게 여자도 소개시켜준다. 그러나 그 여자가 청녀란 사실을 알게 된 코박스는 모든 것이 케이블 가이의 계략이었음을 깨닫고 그에게 결별을 선언한다. 얼마 후 코박스에게 경찰이 찾아온다. 가라오케 장비와 음형기기 등 도난당한 장물을 소유한 죄목으로 연행된다. 케이블 가이는 구치소까지 찾아와 코박스를 괴롭히고, 코박스는 보석으로 풀려난다.

A demo/presentation/pilot for a sketch comedy show. A single stationary camera was mounted inside the center of a large rotating platform. As the platform rotated around the camera, a scene would come into view of the camera. The wheel would stop and a sketch would play out in the scene, which was often framed by some piece of appropriate artwork or prop (for the purposes of forced perspective). At the end of the scene, the wheel would rotate, carrying one scene out of the camera's view and bringing another in, and a new sketch would begin in the new scene. Some scenes were self-contained on the platform, while others were open to the studio beyond the platform (and additional action would take place in the background).
