In this poignant drama set in the aftermath of India's decision to decriminalize same-sex relationships, Satya, a young man from a small town, falls in love with a successful businessman from Guwahati. But with homophobia still rampant in Assam, Satya's relationship with Amar comes to a sudden end, leaving him alone and struggling to cope. However, with the help of childhood friend Samir, Satya begins to rebuild his life and discovers that there may be hope for love and acceptance in a world that can be harsh and unforgiving. Manab, an artist, a free-mind, is in the hospital, struggling for his life. He is an orphan, but the love of his life, Puja, is beside him. Being his support memories comes flashing back in her mind or are they realization of something ominous that had happened in the past. Or shouldn't have happened rather. Something which changed their life forever. This is the story of Dur, a story about love, relationships and most importantly realizations. The film, treated through 10 different fights and its realisations in the second half is a unique treatment the writer/director has tried to play with. The film, without being preachy, dwells on the fact that life as it is might not give us a second chance…a second chance to repent or correct our mistakes.

Three characters: a lonely fisherman, a young rickshaw puller and a single mother, all coincidentally named Bokul find their lives connected when a young stranger comes to town.
