테디(진 와일더)는 광고회사 직원으로서 가정적인 순진한 남자이다. 그러던 어느날 테디는 아름다운 미모의 여인에게 반하게 되는데, 이후 그는 그 여인이 광고회사의 모델임을 알게 된다. 테디는 모델 샤롯(켈리 르브룩)의 주위를 맴돌면서 그녀와 데이트할 수 있는 기회를 얻으려 노력한다. 그러던 중 테디는 친구들의 도움을 받아 샤롯과 둘이 밤을 지낼 수 있는 기회를 얻는다. 그러나 출장갔던 샤롯의 남편이 갑자기 나타나게 되고, 창 밖으로 몸을 피한 테디는 9층 아파트 창문가에서 자살을 기도하는 사람으로 오해받는다. 테디의 자살을 막기 위해 경찰과 기자, 구급대원들이 몰려들게 되고 집에서 텔레비젼을 보던 테디의 아내는 남편을 위해 눈물을 흘린다.

Twelve year old Jennifer is unhappy with her widowed mom's relationship with a family friend. Howie turns out to be a pedophile who works in child pornography and he plans to make Jennifer a "star". Will Jennifer's mother be able to help her daughter before it's too late?
