Răducu, a little boy, spent most of his time in the mountains with his grandparents. But now he has to go back to his parents in the city and join a kindergarten.

This is a comedic meta-movie about making a movie on the Romanian seaside. The movie made is about some low level black market traffickers.

Matei recollects events of the year 1944 in order to prove the innocence of a friend. Based on "Șoseaua Nordului" (Northern Highway) novel by Eugen Barbu.

The communists are taking over the boyar land and do the agrarian reform.

A group of Romanian soldiers helped by peasants, prevents the transport of goods looted by German soldiers from the USSR during the Second World War.
