항공 교통 통제관으로 일하는 맥스 휘드러는 로레인과 이혼하고 다아시란 애인과 사랑하는 사이다. 그러나 다아시를 자주 의심하고 믿지 못하기 때문에 다아시는 결별을 선언하고 떠난다. 실의에 빠진 맥스는 어느날 차를 몰고 오다가 핵 폐기물을 둘러쓰게 되고, 그 때문에 이상한 현상이 일어나게 된다. 즉 뭐든지 맘먹은대로 물체를 움직일 수 있는 힘을 갖게 된 것이다. 그래서 맥스는 다아시에게 접근하는 남자들을, 그 힘을 이용하여 골탕을 먹이지만 결국 자신의 변태적인 행위에 맥스는 절망을 느낀다. 그러던 어느날 친구 브라이언의 별장에서 그 저주스런 마력이 흑인 도리타에게로 옮겨가게 되는데....
