Tango...can also be Finnish. In Argentina we know little about this country and their culture, we usually think of them as completely different society, and yet we dont even know they have their own Tango. In my journeys through that beautiful land I found that link we share, and decided to explore it, to go and unravel the mistery behind the Finnish Tango not only as a musical or dance expression but also to find meaning of this music for this beautiful country in which I found myself interviewing musicians such as MA Numinem and Susana Rinaldi to tango lovers like Elina Lajunen who has the music in her blood, having travelled to Argentina to continue his studies of this dance, and after all this I found that despite of distance between our two contries we are more than kindred spirits.

She is surprised in the pool with the presence of a young man who mysteriously disappears. She is seduced by him but discovers that she belongs to a parallel dimension, water. The desire is getting stronger but the incompatibility to the habit of others prevents them from being together. As in a dream, the only way to be with him will be to cross the boundary that separates: reality.

The evil Nasty comes to our world with two objectives -- kidnap Buji, and carry as much candy as possible back to his world. He has the ability to 'shape-shift', and using the appearance of Dibu, he holds up a bank so that he can get enough money to buy the candy. The police wrongly imprison Dibu, who manages to escape and confront Nasty.

1947, in Patagonia, in a little village on the seaside. An abandoned house on the beach shelters Letty's dreams, her loneliness that only Miguel, a very young pianist, may share with her. Tomas, her husband, loves Letty and eagerly defends her against all the village, while she keeps playing her part of a 'femme fatale' with a romantic past and a very adventurous file. But on a windy day, a handsome and strange foreigner appears, coming from the sea, a man just as those Bette Davis used to fall in love with. For Letty, reality begins to look like the most incredible dreams of her. But this will call the police inspector's attention. With that mysterious spy, Letty will be involved in a story that will end as those stories she was so fond of when she was going to the movie theater of her little willage.

Argentina's turbulent political history is an uncredited but clearly present protagonist in this rather slow-paced story about Ramon (Oscar Martinez) and his search for his brother Pedro in the capital city of Buenos Aires. Pedro has disappeared at a time of upheaval, after a military junta takes over Argentina in 1976, killing thousands of leftists and dissidents. Unlike many others, Ramon's father has political ties that matter, but that may not change Pedro's fate, which could be death -- or like some who have been tortured, worse than death. This film was nominated for a Golden Bear award at the 1985 Berlin Film Festival.

Pablo (Arturo Puig) receives the news that his father, who abandoned him and his family a long time ago and was thought dead, wants to see him so he can pass all his fortune to him. Pablo goes to see his father in Brazil, expecting to inherit a large sum of money, but instead, he receives from his father a treasure map, with the promise that the map will make him rich. After the father dies, Pablo decides to go to an adventure and seek the treasure, aided by the men his father choose as companionship, and by one woman faith choose for him.

In this surreal (and little seen) Argentinean film, a rich upper class family's secrets are exposed during the course of an evening meal. Tensions mount as emotions run high and taboo subjects are explored such as incest and politics. As their dinner table conversation begins to escalate into physical and verbal altercations, the family awaits the arrival of a friend named Hallewyn. When the night is over, will their friend still be joining them?
