룸 싸롱을 경여하는 나영에겐 외국으로 떠난 애인 진호가 있었다. 하지만 진호는 나영의 재산을 노리고 사기꾼이 되어 나타나 경리 담당이 되고 나영이 가장 아끼는 인혜의 몸을 뻬앗아 버린다. 진실만으로 살려는 나영은 다른 업주들의 사주를 받은 조직배에게 겁탈 당하려다 우발적인 살인 미수를 저질르게 된다. 교도소 생활을 마치고 나오니 인혜와 진호의 음모로 재산이 날아가고 인혜 역시 배신을 당해 창녀로 전락 했다는 소식을 듣는다. 나영은 인혜를 용서하고 작은 카페에서 일하던 중 진호가 나타난다. 하지만 인혜는 나영 몰래 진호를 도망치게 하고 호텔방에서 진호는 인혜에 의해 살인 당하고 만다. 이렇게 인혜는 언니에게 속죄하고 배신을 청산 했다.
On the first full moon of January, in the town of Ha-pyung, there is a festival going on in the yard of Shin Chi-gyu, the town's biggest landowner. They are playing yut, a game of throwing four short sticks. The winner of the game is Ok-bun's husband, Lee Bang-won. Having no money, Ok-bun and Bang-won had been tenant farmers on Chi-gyu's land. With their winnings, they try to start their own business. Chi-gyu had always been drawn to Ok-bun. When Bang-won leaves, Chi-gyu comes on strong to Ok-bun. Ok-bun waits eagerly for her husband's return but Bang-won has failed in his business and returns a pauper. As their dreams go up in smoke, Ok-bun falls into deep despair.

Young-Shik, a playboy, loves Ok-Ju, a business owner's daughter on purpose. One day he is bashed and taken to a mountain villa while he is taking a walk near a hotel. The villa's owner Jin-Ho was a vet doctor but now he leads a life with anatomizing animals after he is injured in his leg. One day a woman who wears wedding veil comes to Young-Shik and asks him to go back to his first love Mi-Ra. As the mysterious woman faces with Ok-Ju, she kills Ok-Ju. On his departure day, Young-Shik goes to Jin-Ho and hears from him the woman in veil is Mi-Ra who is troubled with her burnt scald of face and committed suicide letting him go. He trembles in sufferings.
